- cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy);
- server logs and security systems;
- automated and AI-assisted site features described in our AI & Algorithm Transparency Disclosure.
3. Types of Personal Information We Collect (APP 3)
Personal information is information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable. We may collect:
- Identity and contact details: name and email address when you submit our contact form.
- Communications: the content of messages you send us and our replies.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, and date/time of access.
- Usage information: pages visited and interactions with site features (only where you have consented to analytics cookies).
- Cookie preferences: your choices regarding optional cookies, stored in your browser's local storage.
We do not actively solicit sensitive information (as defined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)), such as health information. If you voluntarily include sensitive information in a contact message, we will handle it only to respond to your enquiry and will take reasonable steps to protect it.
4. How We Collect Personal Information
We collect personal information:
- Directly from you — when you complete our contact form or email us.
- Automatically — through server logs, cookies, and similar technologies when you browse our Site.
- From third parties — such as analytics providers, only where you have consented to the relevant cookies.
Where it is lawful and practicable, you may interact with our Site without identifying yourself. However, we cannot respond to contact form enquiries without your name and email address (APP 2 — anonymity and pseudonymity).
4A. Unsolicited Personal Information (APP 4)
If we receive personal information we did not solicit, we will determine within a reasonable time whether we could have collected it under APP 3. If not, we will destroy or de-identify it as soon as practicable, unless we are required by law to retain it.
4B. Notification at Collection (APP 5)
When we collect personal information directly from you, we take reasonable steps to notify you at or before the time of collection (or as soon as practicable afterwards) of:
- our identity and contact details (Section 1 above);
- the fact and circumstances of collection;
- whether collection is required or authorised by law;
- the purposes for which we collect the information;
- the main consequences if the information is not collected;
- the types of third parties to whom we usually disclose information;
- whether we are likely to disclose information to overseas recipients (Section 9);
- how to access our Privacy Policy (this page).
This notice is provided through our contact form (via linked Privacy Policy and consent checkbox), our Cookie Policy and cookie banner, and this Privacy Policy.
5. Purposes of Collection, Use, and Disclosure (APP 6)
We collect, use, and disclose personal information only for purposes that are reasonably necessary for our functions and activities, including:
- responding to enquiries and providing customer support;
- operating, maintaining, and improving our website;
- managing cookie consent and site security;
- conducting analytics to understand how visitors use our content (with consent);
- complying with legal obligations and responding to lawful requests;
- establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims.
We will not use your personal information for a secondary purpose unrelated to the primary purpose of collection unless you consent or an exception under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) applies.
6. Artificial Intelligence, Automated Systems, and 2026 Algorithm Transparency
In accordance with 2026 transparency expectations and APP 1 (open and transparent management of personal information), we disclose how AI and automated technologies are used on this Site. Full details are in our AI & Algorithm Transparency Disclosure.
6.1 AI-Assisted Content
Educational articles and office exercise guides may be drafted or edited using generative AI tools under human review. This content is general lifestyle information only — not personalised medical or professional advice. AI is not used to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
6.2 AI-Assisted or AI-Generated Images
Illustrative images on this Site may include visuals created or enhanced using generative AI tools to depict office movement scenes. These are for illustration only and do not represent clinical evidence or guaranteed outcomes. See our AI Disclosure for full details.
6.3 Automated Tools (Non-AI)
Our Meeting Prep Generator uses rule-based logic in your browser. It does not use machine learning, does not profile users, and does not transmit your selections to our servers.
6.4 No AI Chat or Automated Consultations
We do not operate an AI chatbot or automated consultation service. Contact form messages are intended for human review. Please do not submit sensitive health information expecting clinical or AI-generated advice.
6.5 Personal Information and AI Service Providers
We do not use your contact form data to train public AI models without your explicit consent. If we engage third-party AI or analytics providers that process personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps under APP 8 as described in Section 9 of this policy.
7. Direct Marketing (APP 7) and the Spam Act 2003
We will only use or disclose your personal information for direct marketing where permitted under APP 7 — generally where you have consented, or where you would reasonably expect us to use the information for that purpose and we provide a simple means to opt out.
Commercial electronic messages sent by us comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Each message will:
- clearly identify Forceback.ddd as the sender;
- include accurate contact information (Section 1);
- contain a functional unsubscribe mechanism or clear opt-out instructions.
You may opt out of marketing at any time by contacting connectuse@forceback.shop. We will honour opt-out requests promptly and at no cost.
8. Disclosure to Third Parties (APP 6)
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose personal information to:
- Service providers — website hosting, IT support, email delivery, and analytics (only with consent for analytics), subject to confidentiality agreements;
- Embedded content providers — such as Google Maps on our contact page;
- Professional advisers — lawyers, accountants, or insurers where reasonably necessary;
- Government agencies and law enforcement — where required or authorised by Australian law.
We require contracted service providers to handle personal information in accordance with the APPs and only for the purposes we specify.
9. Overseas Disclosure (APP 8)
Some service providers may store or process personal information outside Australia (for example, cloud hosting or analytics in the United States, European Union, or Asia-Pacific). Before disclosing personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps under APP 8 to ensure the overseas recipient does not breach the APPs — such as contractual clauses, verifying substantially similar privacy laws, or relying on a permitted exception under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
By submitting our contact form or consenting to optional cookies, you acknowledge that your information may be processed overseas by our service providers. Contact us for more information about likely countries and safeguards.
10. Data Retention (APP 11)
- Contact form submissions: up to 24 months from your last communication.
- Analytics data: up to 26 months, in de-identified or aggregated form where possible.
- Cookie consent records: up to 12 months in your browser.
- Server logs: up to 90 days for security and troubleshooting.
When personal information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
11. Data Quality and Security (APP 10 and APP 11)
APP 10 — Data quality: We take reasonable steps to ensure personal information we collect, use, and disclose is accurate, up to date, complete, and relevant. You may request correction under Section 13.
APP 11 — Security: We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure, including:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for data in transit;
- access controls limiting staff access to enquiries;
- secure hosting with reputable providers;
- periodic review of our information handling practices.
When personal information is no longer needed for any purpose permitted under the APPs, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11A. Sensitive and Health-Related Information
"Sensitive information" under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) includes health information. We do not require you to provide health information to use this Site. If you voluntarily include health-related details in a contact message, we will collect it only to respond to your enquiry, with your consent implied from your submission, and handle it in accordance with the APPs and, where applicable, the Health Records Act 2001 (Vic). We encourage you not to submit unnecessary sensitive information.
12. Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB Scheme)
Under the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme in Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), if we experience an eligible data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to affected individuals, we will:
- prepare a statement describing the breach and recommended steps for individuals;
- notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as soon as practicable;
- notify affected individuals as soon as practicable.
13. Access and Correction (APP 12 and APP 13)
Under APP 12, you may request access to personal information we hold about you. Under APP 13, you may request correction of information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading.
To make a request, contact connectuse@forceback.shop with sufficient detail to identify you and the information concerned. We will respond within a reasonable period (generally within 30 days) and may need to verify your identity. We do not charge a fee for making a request, but may charge a reasonable administrative cost for providing copies where permitted by law.
If we refuse access or correction, we will provide written reasons and information about your complaint options, as required by the APPs.
14. Additional Rights for International Visitors
EU/UK visitors may have additional rights under the GDPR, including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a local supervisory authority. New Zealand visitors may have rights under the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ).
15. Complaints (APP 1 — Complaints Handling)
We take privacy complaints seriously and follow an internal complaints process consistent with OAIC guidance:

- We will acknowledge your complaint promptly (usually within 7 business days).
- We will investigate and aim to resolve the matter within 30 days.
